Our Partners The Sierra Front Recreation Coalition (SFRC) formed as an active partnership of federal, state, and local agencies, trails organizations, community groups, nonprofits, businesses, recreation providers, and individuals to promote, develop and provide access to world-class outdoor recreation opportunities and resource stewardship. We came together because the large increase in outdoor access from both the growing local population, and tourists visiting the area, merited additional investments in trail/facility maintenance as well as an opportunity to coordinate our actions to build a world-class, area-wide seamless network of outdoor recreation opportunities. As a partnership, we have identified over $8,000,000 in backlogged investments for the recreational infrastructure on public lands on the Sierra Front. The Sierra Front is helping to raise those funds and distribute them to the nonprofits and governmental agencies responsible for safeguarding these recreational treasures.
